GIVEAWAY!!!!

Hey everyone! In light of the fact that my Facebook page is very close to reaching 200 likes, I wanted to do something fun! So, I want to do a fun GIVEAWAY once my page reaches 200 likes! What Goes Into a Diaper Bag?

With baby number two coming shortly, I've started to put aside the items that I deem necessary for the diaper bag.  While doing this I wondered what other mommies thought were must-haves for the excursions with baby. So I went to my Facebook and all of the mommy groups and put out a mass post, asking over 1,000 mommies what they pack in their diaper bag and here is the list!

Essentials:

1. Diapers
2. Wipes
3. Burp cloths
4. Blanket
5. Hand Sanitizer
6. Bottles
7. Snacks
8. Change of clothes
9. Pacifier
10. Changing pad
11. Nursing cover
12. Teethers
13. Sunblock
14. All mommy's purse stuff

Pointless:

1. Pacifier wipes
2. Tissues
3. Boogie Wipes
4. Snot sucker

Interesting items I never thought about:

1. Clothesline clips to use to hang blankets for instant shade
2. grocery bags for poopy diapers.
3. Tylenol (for mommy)

While this is not an all inclusive list by any means, I do feel like it's a pretty good representation of the items I found useful and pretty pointless with my first. I hope this helped you guys with your diaper bag packing.  Just make sure you ALWAYS do an inventory of the items you have before you go out.  I made it a habit to check the diaper bag before I started getting my daughter ready to go out. That way I wasn't rushing last minute trying to make sure everything is there. Baby Shower Overview

Hey everyone!! Sorry I have been MIA int he blogosphere these past few days, between my baby shower and dealing with technical difficulties with my editing system (a new YouTube video IS on the way, I just need to stop by the apple store ASAP) I have neglected my blogs...but no more!  For this post I wanted to give an overview of my baby shower!  It was simply amazing and I feel so blessed with the amount of love that was shown to myself and baby Charlie. We had a pretty big crowd...over 40 people, and it was SO much fun!! I received pretty much everything I needed/wanted, and the nursery is a complete mess with all of the stuff, I even have to wait for the trash to be picked up so I can finish putting all of the wrapping paper in the recycling! So here is a picture overview of my amazing shower! P.s. I am still in complete amazement as to how blessed we are to have such amazing friends and family in my life! Baby Charlie received so many great outfits, and necessity items, and people were so nice to include Isabella in the present giving. It was such and amazing experience!
